Annual Day of Service! - Lazarus House: Soup Kitchen Breakfast
From 7:45 am - 9:45 am, bring pancake mix to flip cakes on the griddle or bring prepared egg/French toast casseroles to warm up. Breakfast is served from 8:30-9:30 to approximately 50 people. (up to 6 volunteers)
Opened in 1983, Lazarus House Ministries has 50+ full and part-time staff, 5000+ volunteers, and 6500 donors working together to serve the most vulnerable people of Lawrence, MA. They offer community, food, shelter, clothing, and advocacy services with open and non-judgmental hearts, striving to serve every individual encountered with dignity and respect.
The Family Shelter is home to 6 families and 4 single women. The program offers individualized advocacy with guidance and goal setting, prepared meals, laundry, and accountability – all things that help prepare women and families to be self-sufficient. It is a community that provides a safe and loving environment.
