PRC - Recreation Group Support Volunteer
Weekdays/Evenings/Weekends: Program times and extra special events will be communicated to registered volunteers. Volunteers can pick and choose events and programs according to their availability
Recreation is specifically looking for volunteers for the following programs/days/times:
Coffee House- Mondays @ 10:00. Volunteer would help porter to the program and socialize with residents during the program. Help porter residents home after program
Exercises – Tuesdays @ 10:30. Volunteer would help porter to program and stay to either participate along side or observe program. And help porter residents home after program
Bingo- Friday @ 10:00. Volunteer to help porter to program, assist residents with their Bingo card. Help porter residents home after program
Roles of volunteers when support recreation programs:
Assist with program particulars (ex. set-up/take down for a craft or game etc.) as required.
Assist with reminding residents about programs and helping them to/from programs when appropriate
Assist residents with successful completion of tasks/games, etc. as required.
Socialize and promote participation of residents in programs.
