Welcome to Community Volunteer Services and Parkridge Centre!  We are thrilled that volunteers can now return to provide service within our long term care home and the community.

 Within the Community Volunteer Services and Parkridge Centre, our focus is on providing volunteer opportunities that support the health of the communities that we serve.

Saskatoon - Meals on Wheels Ambassador

URGENT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Various routes available.  Shift times are Monday - Friday  delivered over the lunch hours  (11:00-1:00)  

 

Meals on Wheels Volunteers deliver nutritious meals to clients assessed as needing support with nutrition.

 

What you will gain:

Personal accomplishment, develop and enhance communication skills, learn new job skills & obtain a work routine, being involved & giving back to community.

 

Volunteers pick up meals at given time from the outlet and delivers to client in their home. 

Please note: Volunteers will need their own personal vehicle and a valid drivers license. 

 

   

 

PRC - Flower Delivery Provider

 Friday morning pick up flowers from the flower shop and drop off at Parkridge Centre.   
Must possess a valid drivers license and have a vehicle for pick up and drop off of flowers.  
You are then welcome to help support the Occupational Therapy department in their programming with the GRU program in sorting the flowers out and putting them in vases.  

PRC - Community Day Program Associate

Fridays from 10:15-11:45

Volunteers share their time & efforts to support staff with their daily and monthly activity programs. The volunteer supplies that extra pair of “helping hands” that add to the trained services of the long-term care facility staff working together to enhance the lives of residents.

Volunteers will have a sense of fulfillment and purpose by providing support for a variety of programs that stimulate the mental, social, emotional, and physical well-being of residents.
