Mink trap monitoring and dispatch
Mink are an invasive non-native species and threaten have a dramatic impact on biodiversity by predating on ground nesting birds, fish and other wildlife. Mink are also well known for being the number one driver in the loss of water vole populations in Britain, leading to water voles now being categorised as endangered in Britain and an IUCN red list species. We need volunteers to maintain and monitor the traps (fitted with a smart alarm) as well as volunteers to dispatch mink when caught.
