Walkmill Community Woodlands - Saturday's at Walkmill - Path work, scrub clearance & willow pegging 14/3/26

Usually meeting on the second Saturday of the month, Saturday’s at Walkmill is a volunteer group that helps with practical conservation tasks at Walkmill Community Woodland. Activities will include coppicing, tree and hedge planting, wildflower meadow maintenance and footpath maintenance.

When: Saturday 14th March, 10.00am-3.00pm
Where: Walkmill Community Woodland, Moresby Parks, near Whitehaven
What: Path work, scrub clearance & willow pegging

Please bring waterproofs, clothing suitable for the weather and that you don't mind getting muddy, sturdy footwear (wellies/walking boots), lunch, drinks, hat and any personal medication/inhalers etc you need for the day.

Don't worry if you can't make the full day, just contact Sarah if you need to start later or finish earlier.

Tools will be provided. No experience necessary. Fuel expenses can be claimed for this volunteer session.
