Department Assistant - Carer Support Volunteer - Lister, QEII & Hertford
Tasks:
- Visit wards and departments to offer face-to-face support to patients with carers.
- Help carers complete referral forms and understand the range of support available.
- Provide carers with information about hospital and community services.
- Signpost carers to appropriate staff or services for further assistance.
- Offer a listening ear and emotional support where appropriate.
- Assist carers to complete feedback forms, such as the Carer Experience Survey.
- Promote wellbeing resources and initiatives available for carers.
Shift pattern:
Monday – Friday
- 8am – 11am
- 11am – 2pm
- 2pm – 5pm
