Admin Assistant - Carer In-Reach Volunteer - Lister Hospital
Tasks:
- Work with staff to identify carers who are unable to visit the hospital.
- Support communication between carers and hospital staff via telephone or digital tools.
- Ensure long-distance carers remain informed and involved in patient care.
- Help complete referral forms over the phone, ensuring equal access to support.
- Signpost long-distance carers to services and resources available to them.
- Advocate for the needs of long-distance carers to promote equitable access.
- Encourage carers to share feedback or concerns, assisting with Carer Experience Surveys.
Shift pattern:
Monday – Friday
- 9am – 12pm
- 1pm – 4pm
