Green Club
Roice-Hurst Garden Club
The Roice-Hurst Garden Club is a volunteer-led group dedicated to creating beautiful, welcoming, and animal-friendly outdoor spaces at Roice-Hurst Humane Society. Whether you're an experienced gardener with a green thumb or just curious about learning more about plants and pollinator-friendly gardening, everyone is welcome to join!
Our club brings together volunteers who share a passion for nature, beautification, and supporting the well-being of animals through thoughtfully designed outdoor environments. Members participate in a variety of fun, hands-on activities, including planting flowers, maintaining garden beds, growing native and pollinator-friendly plants, seasonal landscaping projects, and educational workshops.
The Garden Club plays an important role in helping make our shelter grounds inviting for visitors, volunteers, staff, and the animals in our care. By volunteering with the Garden Club, you'll have the opportunity to learn new gardening skills, connect with fellow plant enthusiasts, spend time outdoors, and make a lasting impact on the Roice-Hurst community.
Come grow with us and help create vibrant outdoor spaces that reflect the compassion and care at the heart of Roice-Hurst Humane Society!
