Spanish Saturday

Spanish Saturdays take place on the third Saturday of each month, and we’re looking for volunteers who speak Spanish to join us at the shelter!

During this event, Spanish translators will be available to help assist community members with adoptions, our programs, pet resources, and other animal-related questions. Volunteers may be asked to help translate conversations, support meet-and-greets, or simply be on standby to assist Spanish-speaking visitors as needs arise.

When things are quiet, you’ll get to spend time at the shelter, hanging out with the animals, practicing Spanish, and helping us create a more welcoming and accessible space for everyone. You might even find yourself teaching our animals a few Spanish words along the way!
