Volunteer Opportunities - WFP Print Materials Distributer
Help raise awareness of the Wakefield Food Pantry by distributing informational materials throughout the community. This role supports outreach efforts by ensuring brochures, business cards, and flyers are available in key community locations.
Volunteers serve as ambassadors for WFP, helping connect neighbors with pantry services and resources.
Responsibilities:
- Distribute WFP brochures, flyers, and business cards in community buildings
- Replenish materials as needed on a rotating schedule (approximately once every other week)
- Represent WFP as a community resource and point of contact
- Identify locations where materials may be needed
Requirements:
- Comfortable navigating and engaging within the local community
- Willingness to work collaboratively and respectfully in a culturally diverse environment.
- Willingness to advocate for pantry services in public spaces
- Good Self-Organization skills
- Minimal physical requirements (light lifting only)
