Volunteer Opportunities - Quick Stop Pantry Assistant
Support the Quick Stop Pantry located at the Wakefield Senior Center by helping ensure it remains stocked, organized, and responsive to community needs. Volunteers play an important role in maintaining this convenient resource for seniors by monitoring inventory and coordinating replenishment of essential items.
Responsibilities:
- Take inventory and identify pantry needs
- Coordinate with the External Pantry Manager to request and restock items
- Organize and return stock to maintain an accessible, well-kept pantry
Time Commitment:
- Flexible schedule; approximately 2 hours per week
- Scheduled during Wakefield Senior Center operating hours
Requirements:
- Massachusetts CORI check required
- Should be able to comfortably lift and carry 30lbs.
