Veteran Programs - Veteran Services Claim Development Volunteer
This volunteer will be responsible for communicating with other Veterans regarding their claim submissions to the VA. The Claim Development Volunteer will contact individuals referred to them by the County VSO to see how to assist Veterans with:
- Collecting Medical Documentation including Nexus Letters
- Gathering supporting evidence for their claim
- Connecting with community partners to overcome other obstacles in their life
This position can be fully remote and they will be using their personal cell phone and email to contact and coordinate with veterans.
The Claims Development Volunteer will report to the VSO Supervisor with any major issues/updates on clients.
