Recreation Volunteering

I am interested in volunteering with children in RECREATION programs at ARC, MRC or other City of Abbotsford facilities.

 

 After you have completed your orientation and interview sessions, had your Criminal Records Review, and references approved, you may sign up for specific posted shift opportunities in this area to work with children aged 0-12 at ARC, MRC or other City of Abbotsford sites.

 

Some of our volunteer activities in this area include;

  • Arenas and Skating Lesson Support
  • Aquatics and Swimming Lesson Support
  • Day Camp helpers
  • Homework club 
  • a variety of Art, Recreation & Sport Programs at our recreation centers.
