Volunteer Programs - 3. Culture -Pedestrian Traffic Control for Special Events
Traffic Control Personnel (TCP) are needed to assist with parking lot and general flow of pedestrian traffic when events are near roadways. We invite individuals who currently have a TCP license to join us. If you don’t hold a TCP license, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator to discuss the options available.
Your sign-up here is an expression of interest in this program, we will then from time to time send you information about special event volunteer opportunities. You can then choose which opportunities you wish to participate in.
Description of Responsibilities:
• Direct pedestrian traffic at various events.
Skills and Qualities Required:
• Ability to work independently.
• Has strong Customer service skills.
Requirements:
• Traffic control person certificate.
• Minimum age: 18.

Additional Information:
Individuals can record volunteer hours under "Hours Log" in their myvolunteerpage.com account. Staff will approve the hours you’ve logged.
All Volunteers for this program must be Level 3 approved. Level 3 volunteers are those that have successfully completed their orientation interview, a Criminal Record Check, two references and specialized training specific to their program area.
Note; your signup here is an expression of interest in this area; you will have the choice to sign up for an event shift once shifts for a specific event are posted.
