Rangers Nic and Ian put together a programme of Wednesday sessions.
We hope these practical sessions will allow residents to support the Estate and learn lots in the process.
Types of activities you could get involved with include:
Remove historic tree guards in woodland at echo gate. Prepare and paint lovers leap view point railings and potentially south bastion railings. |
Move migrating sand in sand pit, Clean drain outside café, weed, shovel, clean seating area, wash water wall, wash office wall, wash bin/ bike stands. |
Jacobs ladder steps, car park tidy. Maybe drain work if we can gain access. |
Bench clearance x4, step clearance x2 |
Ivy wall removal, litter pick carpark and area from carpark to pumphouse, cut back encroaching vegetation by overflow carpark. signs washed, kerbs / spaces cleared |
Hill fort ash removal, copse area cut and clear into woodland. Steps by hillfort cleared. Build wildlife habitat for scrub. |
Dig Gulley out on main drive, lovers leap path steps clear. Bins washed. |
