Bristol Parks

Time in parks and green spaces is crucial to our health and wellbeing.

At present, group volunteering remains restricted due to Covid-19 - we can support groups of up to 6 people. We cannot allow those in the clinically extremely vulnerable category to volunteer in parks. We're working with Public Health to update these restrictions as soon as it is sensible to do so.

We support and thank everyone who continues to use their time outdoors to carry out maintenance or activities that support parks.

Please read our current Covid-19 Volunteering Protocol for individual volunteering and protocol for group volunteering

A Covid19 Risk Assessment for Group Volunteering can be downloaded here.

Stay safe, be kind. Reach out if you have any worries (ella.hogg@bristol.gov.uk).

Mission Statement

Our mission is to make volunteering in Bristol's Parks easy, enjoyable and worthwhile.

We can support you in setting up a volunteer group for your local park and are happy to answer any questions you might have along the way.

The Bristol Parks Forum web page lists all the current volunteer groups in Parks and is a great place to head to if you're not sure what is happening in a park.
