General Description
Spend some time outside and help out your local community. Busy roads means that sadly lots of trash finds its way into our local ditches and surrounding areas. Do your neighborhood and the environment a favor and come for a morning to help pick up garbage in various West St. Paul neighborhoods.

After meeting at the park and picking up event supplies, make your way to Thompson County Park to help pick up the lakeshore (Thompson County Park - 360 Butler Ave. E, West St. Paul, MN 55118).

Duties & Responsibilities
- Help pick up trash safely off of a county highway and in the selected community
- Family - friendly and open to all volunteers, even if you don't live in Farmington
- All supplies will be provided
Minimum Qualifications
- We recommend volunteers ages 5 and up for this project.
- Volunteers need to be 16 years old or older to volunteer without a parent or guardian.
- All supplies will be provided.
Minimum Time Commitment
2-3 hours, help out for as long as you would like.
Activity Level
Low- Moderate - May involve varying amounts of sitting, standing, and light walking depending on duties the volunteer is responsible for.
