Community Support - Drive Happiness - Volunteers
What are the Volunteer duties or responsibilities?
Drive Happiness volunteers use their own vehicle to help seniors in their community get to important places such as medical appointments, the grocery store, and community programs. It is a fun and flexible position, with no minimum hours or time commitment. You choose where, when and how often you drive. You also receive a fuel reimbursement.
Most importantly, you are helping seniors to remain in their homes and community, close to loved ones, while still being able to access the increasing medical care they need. You will also help them remain independent to go grocery shopping and attend community programs and stay connected. Our volunteers share that it's a very rewarding experience to meet friendly and appreciative seniors.
