Stony Plain Youth Centre - Stony Plain Youth Team (11-17) - LEADERSHIP

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Working as a team to create a positive environment for everyone to come feel safe and welcome!
  • Assist with Youth Centre on the LEADERSHIP Team with Project Planning in the following areas.
    • Events and Programming - Creating awareness of social issues, social justice including Inclusion & Diversity, Mental Wellness, Poverty and Healthy Relationships, Volunteering, Youth Services - How can we promote and advocate in the areas above? Events like - Youth Day, Mental Health Week, Youth Volunteer Event, Pitch In week, Generation Celebration, Pride Event + More.
    • Communications, Culture, Business Development - Want to be a part of our communications planning? want to be a part of the culture planning? Want to be a part of the Youth Centre Social Enterprise and business development Planning?
  • Other duties as necessary.

Educations/Knowledge Preference
  • No education required.
  • Personal Initiative – Are you interested in gaining experience with advisory, leadership and communications? Join us!
  • Creative – Do you have artistic hobbies or passions? Are you an out of the box thinker? Join us! 
  • Outgoing - can you spark up a conversation with a stranger? Yes... perfect. If not, lets help you with that.
