Stony Plain Volunteer Centre

As a volunteer, you are a member of a dedicated team that provides services for Stony Plain Youth Network. Through the generous gift of your time, talent and passion you will provide volunteer services to Stony Plain Youth Network for events and programs that empower youth.

Volunteers are extremely valuable for our community.  By volunteering, you will not only help your community but promote community involvement too.

General volunteer duties could include:

• Being an ambassador for the Stony Plain Youth Network and speaking to local businesses about the project.
• Assisting with general projects that could include administrative work like monitoring social media or fundraising.
• Working as part of a project team and providing a voice to aid in the development and implementation of youth projects with a community focus. This could include transporting youth to their volunteer positions or activities, interviewing youth who are new to the program to see what their interests are.
• Delivering food that is donated from grocery stores to families.
