Community Support - St. Michael's Health Group - Bingo Volunteer

St. Michael's Health Group is looking for a Bingo Volunteer.

  • What are the Volunteer duties or responsibilities?
    Duties Include: Setting up and taking down tables and chairs for bingo, setting up bingo calling equipment and supplies, ability to work with money and make change, ability to speak in a clear voice as residents may have hearing difficulties. Microphone is available if needed.
  • Education/Knowledge Required
    Previous experience working with seniors and people with disabilities an asset.
    Ability to speak in a clear voice, ability to project same voice. Public speaking experience an asset, but not required.
    Ability to handle small amounts or cash and make change.
  • Benefits to the Volunteer
    Volunteer will gain experience working with the elderly and people with disabilities.
    Volunteer will gain experience running bingos.
  • Time commitment required
    Position is once a week on a Saturday afternoon from 12:00-2:00pm.
