What are the Volunteer duties or responsibilities?
Our Museum needs a volunteer or group of volunteers who want to experience the ongoing development of Spruce Grove’s Museum as a tourism destination. A museum data base provides information on the collection and its connection to our rich agricultural history. The agricultural history of the area as it related to the grain trade is our focus.
The museum collection includes the grain elevator, the items in the grain elevator, a collection of restored and unrestored agricultural equipment, and a collection of household and farming items.

Time commitment: about 4 to 8 completely flexible hours per month. Summer months free if you desire.

Education/Knowledge Required
Qualities needed:
• Willingness to work with enthusiastic volunteers
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word
• Interest in local history and in sharing that with the community.
Tasks:
• Accept or reject new donations to the museum based on a written criterion, enter these to Past Perfect
• Use Past Perfect to share agricultural history with the community
• Assist with planning for the future of the museum as it relates to the grain elevator.
