What are the Volunteer duties or responsibilities?
Volunteer tasks include: set up and take down crews, greeters, seed swap table staff, plant cutting swap attendant, workshop/AV helper, kids’ activity center attendants, refreshment table attendant, and floaters.

Education/Knowledge Required
The Workshop/AV helper position(s) require a knowledge of audio visual equipment to assist our presenters to set up, if they require help.
No other education or knowledge is required. Volunteers should be friendly and willing to help.
Those working at the kids' activity table should be comfortable with interacting with children and ensure they are engaged.
Volunteers will be given an orientation prior to the event.

Volunteers will be immersed in a community of garden enthusiasts and environmental advocates where they can make great connections, get exposure to local experts, and be part of a fun-filled day that is designed to bring the community together in a celebration of spring.
Time commitment required
The market runs from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Shifts are generally 2.5 hours (morning and afternoon) but volunteers can certainly sign up for the day.
