ABOUT

We believe it truly takes a village to care for our pets and get them into loving fur-ever homes. That includes being front and center for adoptions, education, and other methods of community outreach. Volunteers can have a meaningful impact on our pets by being part all that we do behind the scenes!

REQUIREMENTS

All administrative volunteers must be:

  • At least 18 years old with a parent/guardian signature
  • Comfortable and confident speaking on the phone, to Villagers, writing, answering emails and questions
  • Able to lift at least 30lbs over head

All administrative volunteers will be required to complete the following:

  • Volunteer Orientation
  • Adoption Counselor Training (optional)

The Humane Society of St. Lucie County is located at

8890 Glades Cut Off Road, Port St. Lucie, FL 34986​​

Tuesday - Saturday @ 11:00AM - 5:00PM
