ABOUT

Caring for pups is lots of work! And with so many dogs here at the shelter, we need lots of help! Volunteers can help us make sure our pups are being taken care of by walking, playing, socializing, enriching, and showing them lots of love each day. Volunteers also have the opportunity to learn about the various facets of dog and puppy care. 

REQUIREMENTS

All Canine Companions volunteers must be:

• At least 18 years old
  
• Comfortable with learning how to handle dogs at various stages of life and weights
  

All Canine Companions volunteers will be required to complete the following:

• Volunteer Orientation
• Canine Companions Training
