Canine Companions - Doggy Day Out
ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
Want to spend the day driving around and spoiling a shelter dog?!
Well this is your chance!
Dogs may only be brought to approved locations that will be discussed beforehand.
Doggy day out is for the one day only, you are required to drop the dog back off by 4:30, please reach out if you feel you may be late on drop off. Pickup May start at 11.
Dogs may not be brought to Pet stores, dog parks or crowded beaches or any location that has not been pre approved.
Must remember to practice safe dog handling as outlined by HSSLC at any approved location.
May be asked to bring dogs to an adoption event
WHAT WE NEED
Experience with handling dogs in a car and out in public
Qualifications Required
- How much weight are you able to lift above your head? Must be 30lbs or more
- Are you capabale of handling a large dog that may pull on a leash? Must be Yes
