Battleford & District Care Centre - Pet Visitor Volunteer (pet required)
Comfort comes in many forms—sometimes with paws and a wagging tail.
Working with individuals, pet Visitor Volunteers create moments of happiness, calm, and connection, that can change someone’s day. Whether it’s a wag, a purr, or a friendly nuzzle, your pet brings comfort like nothing else can. You and your pet’s presence help reduce stress, anxiety, and loneliness while creating joyful experiences for patients and residents, and staff.
Proof of current immunizations and certification/membership of an approved therapy dog/pet program is required.
Share love, comfort, and smiles—one paw at a time.
Pet handlers must be 18+. Shifts are available Monday - Friday, morning, afternoon and evenings depending upon volunteer's availability. This is an on-going casual position.
If you are interested, please contact your local Volunteer Coordinator at 306-446-7388.
