(NW6) North Battleford and Battleford

Meals on Wheels Volunteers deliver nutritious meals to clients whose assessment shows they need nutrition support.  

Volunteers pick up meals at a given time from the outlet and delivers them to the clients in their homes. 
 
Delivery is over lunchtime, and shifts vary. 
 
Routes are available in Battleford.  

Being a volunteer helps clients, patients and residents while providing benefits to volunteers, including the following:

• a sense of personal accomplishment;
• being involved in and giving back to the community;
• developing and enhancing communication skills;
• learning new job skills and
• obtaining a work routine.
