Entomology - Lab/Conservation - Butterfly Wing Art
Activity Description
Help the entomology department create art out of butterfly wings! Entomology staff will provide the materials and explain how to create wing art, which is sold in our Gift Shop. Create beautiful art out of the colorful, iridescent wings of our fallen soldiers of the butterfly wing.
This event takes place every fourth Thursday of the month from 9 a.m. to noon.
Qualifications
All onsite volunteers are qualified to help with this project! If you enjoy crafts, nature, butterflies, and helping Reiman Gardens, this is a great activity!
Location
Sign in upon arrival and go to the Auditorium (unless otherwise directed). Entomology staff will have all materials ready and provide instructions to volunteers.
