Volunteering with Reiman Gardens

Activity Location: Volunteers assist with the removal and installation of the Hughes Conservatory seasonal displays and related plant materials. This opportunity occurs four times each year and includes the installation of the RG Express train and decorating holiday trees.

Activity Location: Hughes Conservatory (see map)

Activity Staff: Jessie Liebenguth (Glasshouse Horticulturist), Debbi Regennitter (Glasshouse Assistant; works August through May)

Training and Requirements: All volunteers will receive onsite training by the appropriate staff member. General physical activity associated with some of these assignments has risks. Services provided may include activities that may be hazardous including, but not limited to using garden tools, lifting soil, rocks or other objects, etc.

Morning of Activity:

• This activity includes morning times which start before the Gardens opens to the general public. If you are unsure how to enter the building or where to report for this activity, please connect with Kim prior to that morning.
• We'll provide all the necessary tools, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gardening gloves.
