Events - Rovers at Reiman

Activity Description

A corgi sits, holding its own leash in its mouth, and looks at the camera expectantly.

Are you having a ruff day? Dog-gone it! Come have a ball at Reiman Gardens with your best friend! It's our first annual Rovers at Reiman event!

Volunteers will help our Events Department and staff with Rovers at Reiman.

For $5/dog (plus admission for non-members), guests can bring their dogs for a walk in our beautiful gardens between 4:30 and 8:00 PM on Tuesdays in April and September and on in October for "Howl-o-ween."

 Activity Instructions

Activities will be assigned upon arrival:

  • Front Desk: check-in with staff at the front gate (handing out leash ribbons and poop bags) - 1-2 volunteers
  • Paw Patrol: patrol the grounds to greet visitors and remind them of rules (like staying on hard surfaces, picking up poop, etc.) - 3-6 volunteers

Volunteers should be comfortable around dogs, and recognize that not all dogs want to socialize with strangers. Volunteers should feel comfortable asking visitors to remember basic rules about staying on paths, cleaning up after dogs, and respecting the space of other visitors.
