KSM Cafe Volunteer (18+)

• Under the direction of the KSM Cafe Lead, work alongside a small team of volunteers to prepare the assigned components of the lunchtime meal  
• Serve the meal to the our KSM members (approx 40 people)
• Greet clients warmly and provide excellent customer service
• Clean up kitchen once meal is complete, following KSM’s cleaning protocols which include  disinfecting the work counters, disposing of waste/recycling and sweeping floors in the kitchen  
• Follow KSM’s Safe Food Handling policies and procedures by washing hands, wearing gloves if needed and utilizing a hair covering 

Qualifications:    

• Must be 18+ 
• Vulnerable Sector Check is required 
• Cooking experience/comfort in the kitchen is a must 
• Ability to take direction and work independently 
• Ability to work well as part of a team 
• Ability to provide excellent customer service 
• Food Handling Certification is an asset
