3. Casual/ one-off volunteering opportunities - Friday Volunteering
Every Friday we hold a volunteering drop in session to help care for Railway Gardens.
The kinds of tasks you can expect on a Friday include tidying the kitchen, watering the gardens, updating the noticeboard, litter picking, and checking or replenishing stocks of things like toilet roll, tea bags, and cleaning supplies. These tasks are essential to keep Railway Gardens running, and we value any time you can spare, even popping in to help for half an hour. Friday sessions are friendly, relaxed, and there's plenty of time for tea breaks and chat.
