6. ☀️ The Community Summer Supper - Serving drinks
The Summer Supper is one of our most beautiful events of the year, bringing people together around food and music. It's a lovely event to be involved with. This year it is taking place on the evening of Friday July 10th.
A change to how we're planning this year's event: There was feedback from the volunteer team that you'd like clearer roles for events like this. We're therefore trialling splitting everything up into shorter shifts doing specific jobs. You are very welcome to sign up for multiple roles and shifts, or spend part of the event as a volunteer and part as a guest!
Serving drinks
In this role you'll be serving soft drinks to guests from the Green Squirrel cabin, mixing up fresh batches of drink, and keeping the area tidy. The kids tend to come back for gallons of pop so you will need to be happy to say a gentle but firm 'no' occasionally!
This is a good role for anyone who likes chatting and serving people.
You can sign up for one shift or multiple shifts.
