Tempo Time Credits is an exciting scheme that allows us to reward volunteers for their time and commitment with credits that can be exchanged for things like...

• Trips to the swimming pool, theatre and other local venues
• Days out at attractions like Techniquest, Castell Coch, Dyffryn Gardens
• Behind the scenes tours of places like the Principality Stadium or BBC Wales studios

Time credits can be used locally and nationally with no deadline for spending them - they can also be gifted to someone else to enjoy.

We're preparing to re-launch time credits for Railway Gardens volunteers and we're looking for someone to champion the scheme. This is a really flexible role that we don't expect should take up more than 1 - 2 hours per week. The key tasks you'll do in this role include...

• Hosting a monthly drop-in session to help people understand the scheme, sign up, and use their credits. 
• Sharing regular time credit updates and reminders in the volunteer whatsapp group to help everyone get the most for their credits
• Preparing a short section for the monthly volunteer email update, for example sharing the story of someone who has used their time credits, or highlighting one of the places they can be spent. 
• Reminding volunteers with flexible roles to log their hours in order to claim their credits

Depending on your availability, as the role progresses there is the potential for the Time Credits Champion to also take on the task of issuing the credits to volunteers each month. 

You'll get full training in the role and the Green Squirrel team will offer the support you need to get the most out of your role.

This would also be a great role for someone looking to gain experience in admin, communication, and leadership skills.
