Spiritual Care Support
This role would provide support for the the Drum Circle and Labyrinth Walk at ACH. Volunteers would assist with the set-up and take-down of equipment, support program delivery through co‑facilitation, and are prepared to assume a facilitation role if Spiritual Care staff are temporarily unavailable.
Volunteers would be expected to be familiar with, or open to learning about, drum circles and light labyrinth practices, and to be comfortable handling program materials and equipment. Volunteers must demonstrate respect for and inclusivity of individuals from all faith traditions. They would also responsible for recognizing when patients and families would benefit from referral to a Spiritual Care Counsellor and ensuring appropriate handoff when the scope of support exceeds the volunteer role. A background in spiritual care is highly preferred.
