The Therapeutic Arts Program (T.A.P) provides the opportunity for children and their families to engage in a variety of creative art activities in the Art Studio. The volunteer team assists in the delivery of these activities within a group setting encouraging socialization and self-expression through the arts.

Therapeutic Arts volunteers may do any of the following, depending on specific program needs: • Set up/cleanup of program activities in the art studio. • Collect and return patients to their Unit/room. • To encourage participation and provide support to the child during the activity – individually or as a group. • Assist with any special event that may occur instead of regular Therapeutic Arts group program.
