Emergency Department Volunteers are often the first point of contact for patients and visitors accessing the Emergency Department.  Volunteers work alongside the triage team to ensure patients are seen as efficiently as possible. Volunteers provide information, direction and services to patients and visitors in the department using the principles of Patient and Family Centred Care.

Our ideal applicant is a mature candidate that has a proven ability to remain calm in stressful situations.  Preference is given to applicants who have worked with vulnerable populations and have excellent communication and customer service skills. 

 Currently only recruiting for Weekends 8pm-11pm.
