Fall 2026 Children Services / Arts & Culture Volunteer Orientation
Please join us for an introduction to volunteering with the City of Port Coquitlam's Children Services and Arts & Culture programs! This Orientation will include:
- An introduction to Port Coquitlam Recreation, including our facilities, mission and values
- What to expect when volunteering in Arts & Culture and Children Services programs
- Information on working with children, including expectations and procedures
- A chance to meet your volunteer supervisors and some fellow volunteers, and
- An opportunity to finish your required paperwork, receive a volunteer t-shirt, and ask any questions you may have about volunteering
Date: Wednesday, September 9th, 2026
Time: 4:00pm - 6:00pm
Location: Port Coquitlam Community Centre - JB Young Room (Upstairs)
2150 Wilson Ave, Port Coquitlam
Volunteer duties will include: Please come prepared to participate and contribute.
Please bring/wear clothing you can move comfortably in, including sneakers (no flip flops or sandals).
