Spring Set 2026 Volunteer Orientation

Please join us for an introduction to volunteering with the City of Port Coquitlam's Spring Set volunteer opportunities. This Orientation will include:

• An introduction to Port Coquitlam Recreation
• What to expect when volunteering in day camp and programs
• Information on working with children, including expectations and procedures
• A facility tour of Port Coquitlam Community Centre
• A chance to meet your volunteer supervisors and some fellow volunteers, and
• An opportunity to finish your required paperwork, receive a volunteer t-shirt, and ask any questions you may have about volunteering

Date: Wednesday, March 4th, 2026

Time: 4:00pm - 6:00pm

Location: Port Coquitlam Community Centre - Small Multipurpose Room (Upstairs, across the walkway, take a right and at the end of the hall.)
2150 Wilson Avenue, Port Coquitlam

Volunteer duties will include: Please come prepared to participate and contribute.

Please bring/wear clothing you can move comfortably in, including sneakers (no flip flops or sandals). Snacks and pizza will be provided.
