Memory Bears Ambassador
Memory Bears are made for grieving family members from clothing of their loved one. For a grieving person to hug a bear made from the favorite shirt/pajamas of their loved one, is deeply healing. Some bears might wear a special pin or other important items. These Memory Bears represent the person and are made to honor their memory. We know how devastating the loss of a loved one is on a family. Capital Caring Health provides hospice care to patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics. These Memory Bears are very meaningful to the family.
Our sewers also offer pillows and small lap blankets to families in addition to the Memory Bears. Patterns are provided to all sewers. Our sewers support each other via a monthly zoom and weekly emails which connect the group.
