Are you new to crafting or a seasoned pro? Come share your talents with the residents at the DuPage Care Center. Volunteers can assist with on unit crafts, host an activity or help in the in-house ceramics program!
The Ceramics program offers the residents a chance to work with clay and paint molds, volunteers support is crucial for this activity! Volunteers help residents to class and assist the instructor with the ceramics mold. No experience needed! We are happy to help you learn!
Share your talent with the residents! Music performers can schedule to preform on units or at all house events!
Pianos and sounds systems are on every neighborhood as well as all muti purpose rooms.
The DuPage Care Center Gifts and Thrifts is a gently used resale store for the residents and staff to shop in. Volunteers are reasonable for facilitating sales and assist customers and general upkeep of the shop.
Start and End time may vary based on volunteer availability.
Volunteers support these programs through transporting residents to and from in-house survivors. Current religious programs include weekly Rosary, bi monthly Sunday Catholic Services and Ecumenical Services.
Always looking for volunteers groups to lead bible studies or worship services throughout the week.
Regular assistance is always needed for shopping trips, in-house social events such as bingos, music performances, trivia, and games.
Volunteers support all house events by transporting to and from the in house events.
Times and dates are flexible and vary based on monthly unit calendar.
Do you have a passion for helping people look their best? The DPCC In-house hair stylists is looking for volunteer support Monday-Fridays! Volunteers would assist residents to and from their appointments, help the stylist with general upkeep of the salon, and visit with residents while they wait for their service. The Salon is open during weekdays from 9:30am- 4:00pm!

The mission of the DuPage Care Center is to provide quality long term care as well as short term rehabilitative services to DuPage County residents in a professional and cost effective manner.
It is the sincere goal of the entire staff to recognize and serve each resident’s needs, desires, interests and emotions.
We employ those interventions of treatment, therapy and activity which restore health, dignity and hopefulness to residents, by assisting them to do as much as they can, as well as they can, for as long as they can.
There is no limit to the possible innovations in these treatments, therapies and activities. When appropriate, we strive to return residents to their home and the community.
