Shelter Support Team
At H.A.L.O., the comfort of our rescues is one of our top priorities. As is ensuring the items needed by staff in charge of their care have all they need to care for the animals. The tasks of the Shelter Support Team can be endless and will change based on the days needs. Below are the three main responsibilities of this opportunity. There will always be laundry to process and dishes to wash at the shelter!
Responsibilities include but are not be limited to:
- Ensuring the rescues have properly cleaned and sanitized bowls for food and water.
- Providing the rescues with clean, soft bedding and blankets. Proper sorting before washing and correct sanitizing steps must be strictly adhered to for the health of the rescues.
- Sorting and putting away donations.
This volunteer opportunity works directly with H.A.L.O.’s Animal Care Manager and must be at least 16 years old.
