(SW5) Swift Current

This position gives high school students the opportunity to volunteer their time and efforts and experience and learn about continuing care and the careers available.  It is a great recruitment tool.  It will assist the staff with general tasks deemed appropriate for youth and volunteers. 

Duties such as restocking carts (Robes, slippers, toiletries, etc), delivering water and snacks to patients, visiting and playing cards/games, reading, fingernail painting, clearing used dietary trays, collecting wheelchairs, putting light charts together, bring residents to shared meal area and recreation activities, seasonal decorating, assist with recreational events, shadowing nursing staff
