Moorabbin Chemo Day Unit Visitor Volunteer
Chemotherapy Day Unit Visitor volunteers offer patients and their family members emotional and practical support while the patient is having their treatment. This may be engaging in a conversation, listening to someone, offering a warm blanket, reading or playing a game with them. Chemotherapy Day Unit Visitor volunteers must be patient, caring, supportive and be able to introduce themselves to new people and be able to listen to others. Volunteers may be required to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while volunteering.
