Monash Health Volunteer Services

Ward Ambassadors provide emotional and practical support to patients and families including siblings, parents or carers. In the adult wards this role involves chatting to patients, offering activities, handing out magazines or making a coffee or tea for a visitor.

Volunteers must be interested in supporting people of all ages as well as their families.  The skills required of the role are being able to approach and introduce yourself to families to offer support and assistance and demonstrate care and compassion for others. 

Shifts: Morning & Afternoon (you must be available during business hours from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm– Monday to Friday)
