Aged Care resident visitor - Mooraleigh Hostel (Bentleigh East)
Mooraleigh Hostel in Bentleigh East, are looking for volunteers interested in providing some one-on-one companionship.
They provide permanent and respite specialist aged care, in cottage style houses with high functioning residents.
With 29 private rooms, each personalised with lovely garden views, you could:
- enjoy a lovely stroll in the gardens and sit with resident/s to have a chat over a cuppa
- assist with an activity of your preferred choice such as playing cards, reading a book or doing a crossword
- bring your creative ideas or talents such as music or craft to share with the residents
If you enjoy making a difference, and can spare some of your time throughout each week, visiting residents who are isolated and longing for some company, we would love to hear from you.
