Are you someone who loves to bring a smile to others and offer a helping hand? As a Dialysis Visitor volunteer at Moorabbin, you’ll have the wonderful opportunity to provide emotional and practical support to patients and their families during treatment.

Your role will involve:

• Engaging in heartfelt conversations, and being a compassionate listener.
• Offering comfort, with a warm blanket of a friendly game
• Creating a positive atmosphere. By reading to patients or simply being there for them.

We are looking for volunteers who are:

• Patient and care, with a genuine desire to support others.
• Friendly and approachable, able to introduce themselves and connect with new people.
• Attentive listeners, ready to lend an ear and offer comfort.

Please note, volunteers may be asked to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) if required to ensure everyone’s safety.
