Meal-Share - Head Cook
If you can cook a holiday meal for a bunch of hungry relatives, you're probably understand how cook at The Salvation Army. We've got the meal plans, recipes, volunteers and staff members that will help you turn out a tasty and filling meal for 40 - 60 guests. Must be at least 18 years of age, able to lift up to 10 -20 pounds, have completed a volunteer application and passed a background check. (It also helps to have good people skills and a love for cooking.) The Head Cook arrives between 8 and 8:30 AM and should be done by 3:00 PM. Call Tony at (605) 225-7410 to fill out an application and/or to get your name on the schedule. Groups possible but call ahead to discuss details please.
