Be the Helping Hands Behind the Scenes – Join IPC Health as a Volunteer Administrative Assistant Volunteer!
Help us keep IPC Health running smoothly for the community and our dedicated staff by taking on essential behind-the-scenes tasks. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact while gaining experience and connecting with passionate teams. You’ll support a variety of IPC Health departments by helping out with a diverse mix of tasks. If you’re familiar with basic office work, comfortable using computers, confident in English communication, and open to learning new skills, we’d love to hear from you.
Tasks may include:
- Preparing for events, including mailouts and on-site assistance
- Conducting client feedback surveys
- Supporting patient transport and maintaining fleet car cleanliness
- Assisting with data entry and record filing
- Preparing handouts, leaflets and other wellbeing program materials
Commitment: Once a week for 1–2 hours during standard business hours. Some activities may be one-off tasks requiring 2–3 hours on a specific day.
Locations: Deer Park, Sunshine, St Albans, Altona Meadows, Hoppers Crossing or Wyndham Vale
Eligibility Requirements:
- Undergo a Police Check (arranged and paid for by IPC Health)
- Hold a current Working with Children Check listing IPC Health as your volunteer organisation
- Provide a current immunisation record or evidence of immunity for:
- Annual Influenza vaccine
- Covid (recommended 2 doses)
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
- Chickenpox
- Whooping Cough
- Provide valid photo identification
